WELCOME TO A NEW EDITION OF MY NEWSLETTER
Here I am again with a little compilation of the comics I have made recently that you can buy or/and read, and things to come in this newsletter I’m sure you will be interested in (easy clue: a free comic).
UNTIL MY KNUCKLES BLEED
Like I said in my previous newsletter, I have created, written and illustrated a new series for Behemot comics, a noir-superhero story titled Until my knuckles bleed.
The story is a tribute to the “grim and gritty” era of comics and how these characters could age, what problems they will have, like those elite athletes who have a lot of medical problems after retiring. I had a lot of fun making this book and making these muscled old thugs suffer. And at the same time I have tried to tell a story about redemption and aging with dignity. I really hope you like it.
Some links of interest:
-The solicitations of Previews page of the issue 1 with some preview pages.
-A Bleeding Cool list of the Behemot solicits where you can see of all the variant covers I have done for the issue 1 (something that seems appropriate for a tribute to the 90s comic-books)
-And if you are a collector and want to get all the comic variants, stadium comics gives you the chance.
A little reminder: the crowdfunding of the book Moon Eaters was funded, but now it’s in “expanded campaign” mode so if you didn’t contribute in the first campaign, you still have the chance to buy the book with the special features included (a signed print and a sketchbook with all the storyboard of the graphic novel for free) before the book goes to press next year.
The book is available in two languages, Spanish and English, and it doesn’t matter where in the world you live. The people from Spaceman Project can send it to you.
The site in English: https://www.spacemanproject.com/en/proyecto/moon-eaters/81
In Spanish: https://www.spacemanproject.com/es/proyecto/moon-eaters/81
If you like TV shows like Banshee and Supernatural or John Carpenter’s movies like Assault of Precinct 13, Escape from New York or In the Mouth of Madness, it means first: You have an excellent taste and second: This is definitely your book.
Paranoia Killer is a self-contained 4 issues miniseries I made (again, created, written and illustrated by me, full creator, baby!) for the digital paltform Panel Syndicate). Crazy SciFi, private contractors going nuts trying to find a supersoldier-messiah and a hero questioning the reality of her own identity.

AND NOW THE FOURTH HORSE(WO)MEN
I’m going to do a little experiment. Like I did with Polar (the first mute version still being available in the page polarcomic.com with other of my webcomics) I am going to publish a new free webcomic using the substack platform. Right now I have planned a monthly update. Only a page every month but what a page! My idea is a kind of big page with a lot of panels, like a digital modern version of the Sunday Pages of the American newspapers. The comic will be free but this will be the only place where you can read it. I’m not sure how this experiment will be published “physically” in the future, but right now I’m enjoying simply making something without thinking in anything except having fun.
I’ll tell you more things about the story soon but right now here you have a teaser poster:
So if you are not subscribed, do it now and you will receive the mail with the chapters of the story as soon as it’s released!
I want to thank the cartoonist and translator Dan Christensen, who corrected the dialogues of the first 4 chapters of the story. Take a look at his job and his fantastic graphic novel Paranormal. The dialogue is sharp and minimal but this doesn’t mean that it is going to be as poorly written as this newsletter, so thank you, Dan!
And that’s all. I will see you soon (surely in a couple of weeks) with the first chapter of Ginger revenges.
See you soon!
